The Haygoods

Musical Influences of the Haygoods

What’s YOUR favorite style of music? Country? Rock N Roll? A Capella? Polka?!

Guess what…you’re in luck! Spend an evening rockin’ with the Haygoods and we can guarantee you’ll hear at least one song you know … and lots more that you’ve heard, but NEVER heard Haygood-style!

So where did the Haygoods style come from? Where did 6 kids from Texas find their Mountain Rock style? The Haygoods cut their teeth as kids on mountain bluegrass, cajun fiddle tunes, church hymns, hoedowns, cowboy music by the “Sons of the Pioneers” and classic Americana pop songs. As the Haygood kids grew up they listened to Billy Joel, Fiddler Mark O Connor, Styx, Queen, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Journey, Kenny Loggins and Van Halen … pretty much any music they could get their hands on!

The Haygoods carried over their love of musical styles into every show, every night!

In a current Haygood’s show you can hear music and influences by Rascal Flatts, The Jackson Five, Bruno Mars, The Temptations, Alabama, Sara Evans, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Judy Garland, The Righteous Brothers, Rednex … all with a dose acoustic Hillbilly Americana thrown in for good measure! In other words, The Haygoods show is THE show to see for any music lover of any age…
