An Old Time Christmas At Silver Dollar City

Christmas is in full-swing in Branson and there’s so much to do you’ll wish we started the season in September instead of November!!! The Haygoods are performing 4 shows a week, but if you plan it right, that leaves you time for at least a few other fun Christmas activities during your trip…and if you ask any of the ‘Goods we’ll all send you back to where we celebrated our first Christmas seasons in town … at Silver Dollar City!

Silver Dollar City IS Christmas in the Ozarks, and is rated one of the top Christmas destinations in the world! Over 5 million lights and 1,000 decorated Christmas trees, carolers singing in the street, a 5-story Christmas tree with lights synced to music, and 2 amazing Broadway style productions staring some of the most talented entertainers we know! Don’t forget to also find crazy Choctaw Charlie and the Saloon girls serving the holiday cheer and the best “snowballs” in park, plus the all new TJ’s Toy Shop with a singing Christmas tree, and of course the Living Nativity at the Riverfront Playhouse. And along with the shows and lights, as long as the weather holds above freezing, you can race through the lights on the roller coasters (with go-pros if you’re Michael), ride the caroling train and watch the Rudolph LED Light Parade!

Special Christmas treats appear at the park during the Holiday season as well, hot caramel apple dumplings, hot chocolate (with the works!), steam wassail, sweet potato chips and you can toast your own marshmallows for s’mores!
