If there is anything The Haygoods know a lot about, it’s Silver Dollar City! After all, The Haygood siblings grew up on the park, playing 6,000 shows from 1993 – 2001 before moving the show to The Branson Strip. When the Haygoods aren’t entertaining at The Clay Cooper Theatre, they take their families to Silver Dollar City to watch the shows, ride the rides and have a genuine Ozark Mountain good time!
This year is a special year because it is the final year of World Fest!! Silver Dollar City brings in acts from all over the world to perform and it is an amazing experience for families. The Haygoods recommend checking out Cirque Zuma Zuma from Africa, Island Fire from Polynesia, and of course Dearbhail Finigan and her beautiful harp from Irelend. Catherine Haygood and Dearbhail Finigan became friends when Catherine was first learning to play the harp a while back. There are so many shows to check out from all over the world, but don’t forget to visit Firemen’s Landing and ride the infamous Outlaw Run and Powder Keg Roller Coasters!
After the sun goes down be sure to stay and check out the Echo Hollow show! Some of Branson’s finest pickers and singers put on a whale of an evening celebration under the stars. Its an incredible way to end an awesome time at The Haygoods favorite theme park in the whole world! Maybe we will see you there! World Fest runs April 7 – May 1st. Have fun! 🙂
